Mass Allocation when Explaining a Transaction

We import our bank statements weekly and go through and explain each transaction. So far so good... except when we get to our main 'Suppliers'. For example I have just explained a transaction for £20k which equated to 80 invoices needed allocating to it. I have to do this every month to 5 different suppliers and you can imagine the time it takes.

Instead of having to allocate each invoice at a time and waiting for screen to refresh to then allocate the next, couldn't there be a checkbox next to allocate, I then could tick the checkbox for all 80 invoices and click allocate / add transactions with one swift click?

Could a solution be...

Delete that transaction from the bank import > Go onto the supplier > Edit Contact > Allocate > Add payment

once payment is added, from here I believe you would be able to allocate against all the invoices you needed at once.
