Maths in data entry input

A useful tool I miss is being able to do maths in data entry boxes (quantity or unit price for example).

Cannot recall which product I used in the past that did this but still find myself wanting to enter data starting with an '='...for example when creating invoices from job cards/materials lists I can enter directly (+, -, *, /) rather than having to fish out a calculator...

That's a feature that has been part of Quickbooks. I did find it really handy and would be willing to back that was some $$$.
