VAT margin scheme

Is there any support for the VAT margin scheme wherein VAT is only charged on the 'profit' element rather than the full sale value? (e.g. second hand cars or used equipment like sewing machines)

Hi Martyn,

There isn't support for a VAT margin scheme in terms of automatically calculating the profit element from your invoices/bills. We do have a VAT margin invoice theme which hides the VAT from the invoice to prevent the profit being calculated from the VAT amount.

You can find this in Settings > Invoice Themes > All on our Clear Books demo account.

This is currently within our to do list for our development team but there are no immediate plans to have this implemented.
