Display quick pay under invoices even if they weren't just created

Idea suggested by Zoltán Lehóczky 10 years ago

Just immediately after creating an invoice there is the very handy Quick Pay box under the invoice. However this is not displayed later, when you go back to the invoice. It would be great to also have Quick Pay under any invoice.

Thanks for the reply. This is actually turned on and indeed I can see the box.

So my mistake, what I really wanted to ask for is similar Quick Pay box for not for bills (i.e. incoming invoices), but "invoices" (i.e. outgoing invoices): there is one for bills but if you want to allocate a payment for an outgoing invoice you have to first add the transaction, then allocate: this could be just one step with a similar feature. This way simple payments could be processed as easily as for bills.

You mean you want to 'quick pay' a sales invoice?

If so, that should already be available too unless you're invoicing in a foreign currency I believe.

Yes exactly.

That may explain it, since we exclusively invoice in a foreign currency and there are no quick pay options for any of our outgoing invoices.

Yes, that's it then, GBP invoices can be quick paid just like bills.

Maybe someone from the Tech team will be along shortly to explain why it's not available for foreign currency invoices...

Hello Zoltan/Kevin,

The multicurrency quick pay option has yet been added to Clearbooks. It is a good suggestion and I'm sure would help out a lot of customers so therefore the more positive feedback this post gets the greater chance of implementation. I think its a good idea so I'll give it a like for you.

In the meantime, the way to allocate a multicurrency payment is to click on the allocate button when in an invoice, creating the payment and then allocating it to the invoice.

Let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

Thanks,

Michael
