Feature to create a request for payment on CBs

I am trying to find out if I can create a "request for payment" rather than an invoice so that it's recorded onto the system but doesn't go on the vat return. Reason being it's for £3000 and we wont get the money for at least 6 months so I don't want to be paying the vat on it before we are in funds ourselves.

Please can you give this some serious thought, as this would be a seriously beneficial feature for me.

Hi Graham,

Thanks for this idea, now that it has been posted on our community forum, it will gain exposure to our development team and 8000+ clients and gather votes by some of these users and based on the number of votes it gets, this will determine the level of priority the idea is given in terms of being implemented.

Given the targeting of accountant resellers I'm surprised this hasn't happened yet. Can be a 'type' option on the Quote form.

Hi Andy,

I believe this a Proforma Invoice, which used as a request for payment before the invoice is raised.
