Option to add extra payroll categories

It would be a good idea to be able to add extra payroll categories to the existing overtime, commission, bonus etc. For example I need one for 'car allowance'.

Thanks for the suggestion, this is definitely a great idea and one that will improve the Open Payroll module. Please do feel free to list other categories you think would be beneficial to the module.

Anan - it's not just a great idea, it's essential. I'm starting to use OP for clients who have 20+ employees and the system just isn't flexible enough. If you're an IT Contractor looking to pay yourself a small salary then it ticks the boxes, other than that there are massive gaps in the system.

Quite honesty it should not have gone live
