Update to Recurring invoices and multi currency

The team at Clear Books care about making things simple for our customers and in light of feedback received from you we have made some tweaks to the multi currency conversion rates in our recurring invoice templates.

From Monday 8th August the following change will come into effect:

Recurring templates for invoices will now automatically set the conversion rate for each invoice on the day they are created.

How does this affect me?

With the arrival of these changes, our customers will no longer have to set the currency rate upon the creation of the template. Instead, Clear Books will automatically take the rate straight from XE.com for each invoice as they are created. This means your conversion rates will always be the fresh!

Please note, if you have toggled on Multi Currency and fixed the conversion rate in the foreign currency table, then these manual conversion rates will take precedence over the above.

Who will use it?

Our customers who use multi currency and make use of our handy recurring invoice features.

How do I start using it?

If you’re already using our accounting application, you don’t need to do anything – you’ll simply see these changes next time you create a recurring template.

Thanks, Darren Taylor Digital Marketing Manager - Clear Books
