Announcement: Credit Limits for Suppliers

Hi all,

We're excited to announce a new feature that builds on the functionality within Clear Books. Now, in addition to the standard customer credit limits we now have the option to set a credit limit for suppliers.

Credit limits allow you to add a credit value to a supplier which, if exceeded, will display warning notifications when creating a bill such as the one below:

If you create a bill for a contact that has exceeded their credit limit, a warning notification icon will be displayed in the ‘Supplier’ field. If you hover over the icon, a message will tell you how much is owed to the supplier and their credit limit.

Additionally, any purchase orders created will refer to the supplier credit limit amount, when saving, to confirm if the limit has been exceeded.

You can of course proceed with creating the bill despite this notification if required.
