When I set this up I clicked the button for automatically creating customers from transactions but this only seemed to work for the first download, since then it no longer happens. Is there a way I can check the form to make sure the box is still ticked please?

Thanks Maichael. When I first set up the auto download all the customer names/details not on the database were inserted automatically on the first download but since then this has not happened and I am having to manually input each customer.

If none of the transactions have been explained, you should be able to delete the imported file and reimport it through Paypal. Can you attempt this again ensuring the add customers option is ticked and let me know if this still doesn't work.
Michael what I need to know is where do I find the form to make sure the add customers box is ticked please.
You will need to ensure the 'automatically create customers from transactions' box is ticked when you go to import a new statement - please see the screenshot below.
If the paypal account has mappings then you can delete these in the Money > Import Rules > History area.

You will be able to access this form by clicking on the import option next to the Paypal bank account in the Money > Bank Accounts area.
