CIS UTR warning

Hi there,

Last week, when I ran the monthly return for CIS, I got the following warning come up: "The following subcontractors are missing a Unique Tax Reference and"

Nothing has changed with the supplier details, and I've double checked all the relevant suppliers and they still have their UTR's entered. I ran a check again today and the same warning has come up. I was able to submit the return last week despite the warning, although it was a bit slow and I had to refresh the screen a few times.

Any ideas why this is suddenly appearing, and how I can get it to go away?

Hi Jade,

It should only really appear if you have unverified subcontractors - the development team will be updating the system so that this happens in future. However as long as there are no subcontractors listed in the message the warning can be ignored - it should not prevent you from submitting the CIS return. If you do have any problems with this though just let me know.
