Importing data from an old clearbooks account to a new one

The import tools we have at the moment wouldn't be able to make that link between bills and expenses. Are you trying to duplicate all the date you have at the moment in one account on to another or just a selection? - we could help with that transfer rather than using the import tools.

I wanted to separate all transactions from this year (commencing Jan 2015) to a new Clearbooks account. I imported all sales, purchases and expenses but I am finding I still have to do quite a bit of manual linking. Is this something you can help me transfer?

I am going to check with one of our developers to see if there is a better/quicker way of doing this - would it be possible to raise this as ticket using the guide below with all your details and which account needs to be separated?

The development team have replied to your ticket, however it sounds like you have not received it - if you log in to Clear Books and head to My tickets in the drop down menu at the top you should be able to see the response and add a comment at the end:
