Access rights to stock in user profiles

I really need an answer to this, it is impeding our sales team formulating quotes.

If you give your user access to sales ( List/ Invoices/ customer/quote) then they should be able to add stock lines.

Hi i have checked in our company :

Stripe 21 VN Limited.

Paul Hobbs has these access rights and still cannot add stock items.

Please advise ASAP.

I tested in our demo system with the user rights I suggested and it worked. I did check with our technical team first.

He needed to have the Sales - Create option too. I have added that and now he has the permission to add stock line items.

Create and Stock addition seem to have a link in the permission settings.

Try and see. I logged in as Paul Hobbs and it works for me.

Further to my email above,

I just added the Sales>create permission to the user pre-defined role that you had.

If you do not wish to give this permission to other users then you should create another role with this option and just give it to ones who need it. .
