Removed user reappeared

I removed a user from our account in Clearbooks on 14/12/15. He has subsequently been able to access our account, when I've logged back in his account was indeed there.

This is very worrying.

I have removed him again.

I also dug a little deeper and found a fubra management screen and he was still listed there with access. I had not seen this the first time around so I'm not sure if that is related. We have also now deleted him from there.

I would like you to explain how this could have happened?

The only other factor I can think of is that he has runs another company using clearbooks with the same email address.

I have escalated to our senior development team to investigate ASAP. Do you have Jamie's password and if so did you attempt logging in with them?

I am sorry for any issues this has caused you. Please be reassured that we have updated the system such that this specific issue should not happen again.  

We migrated away from the Fubra Passport as our primary log in system back in 2012 but it has still been possible to use your Fubra Passport to sign into Clear Books. Our plans are to remove the ability for users to log in via the Fubra Passport permanently to further streamline user experience.

We will be blogging about this shortly.
