When I click on 'Money Out' it doesn't go to that tab

Fair enough, I hate accounting and my mind is somewhere else when I'm putting in expenses, but when I click on the 'Money Out' link I'd expect to be taken to the 'Money Out' tab, but I'm not. Because I'm not concentrating (because I hate accounting) I then go and put in a whole lot of 'Deposits' when they should be 'Withdrawals'. And then of course I have to go and delete them (itself an irritating process because I don't automatically go back to the list of items I need to carry on deleting) which really makes me mad.

Surely, if I ask for 'Money Out' I should automatically be taken to it, and secondly, if I do it once, it should become the default for any further inputs of expenses until such time as I change it, because it defaults to 'Money In' each time?!

I have two accounts, my bank and my expenses. See Pic01 attached. When I click on 'Money Out' it goes to the next screen - see Pic02 attached - but sits on the 'Money In' tab. And then when I click on the 'Money Out' tab and do an entry (if I remember) then once I've added that, it reverts to the 'Money In' tab, which IMHO is rank bad design.

I can confirm clicking money out doesn't work when clicking it directly from the dashboard, only once you're already in the money screen itself.

So where do we go from here?

Mind you, my second problem still exists even if I go the route you did - I just created a dummy entry and once I'd entered it, the thing defaulted back to the 'Money In' tab.

I suppose I'll have to put up with it and hope the developer's ears burn every time I curse him or her to the high heavens....

Thanks for explaining the issue in further detail.

I will raise that as a bug and our Development Team will implement a fix. The "defaults back to Money in" problem is apparently a known issue and our Developers are already working on a fix.

The issue with the Money In/Out defaulting and the links problem has been confirmed as fixed by the technical team. I have tested it out and everything is now working as it should be. If you find that there are still any issues with this, please do let us know.
