how to delete recurring invoice template

Hi I am trying to how to delete recurring invoice templates and they all say they are in a locked accounting period- I want to lock them for the future ongoing so not sure why this is not letting me? Please advise. Thanks

Hi Rosemarie

The recurring invoice will have first been created during an accounting period that has subsequently been locked. You simply need to unlock the period, delete the recurring template then re-lock the period. Doing so will stop all future recurrences but it won't remove the ones that have already been created [just in case you're worried about that].
