NEW SEARCH BAR

ON THE OLD SEARCH BAR I COULD TYPE IN A VEHICLE REGISTRATION NUMBER, & THE SYSTEM WOULD FIND ALL THE INVOICES LISTING THAT REFERENCE, THIS DOES NOT WORK ON THE NEW BAR. WHY NOT ?
