Problem in Currency Conversion

Hi I am facing a problem that at year end when i check that closing balance of my city Bank india Bank account on 31 July 2016 its showing as £2,315.04 even in balance sheet however when i switch the currency it shows as 4,619.48 in Indian rupess which is correct but the balance showing in GPB is not correct which should be around £55 to 57 as per the currency exchange rates so kindly do let me know the solution for this.
