Failed to send verification request

I keep getting the following notice when I try to verify as subcontractor in the CIS section

Failed to send verification request, please check that your tax office details, unique tax reference (UTR) and accounts office reference are all correct.

I've spoken to my accountant and they have confirmed I'm inputting the right details?

Any ideas?

Hi Paul,

Have you set Clear Books up as your agent for CIS on the Government Gateway?

If not, then you will need to follow the instructions in the Support Guide below to do this:
