Explaining historical transactions

Hi I'm attempting to transfer my accounts from previous reporting periods (ending 2015, 2016) to this system. Cannot get explain to work. is there another setting that needs changing? This business is not vat registered. I am using the account in the trial period.

Hi Rajesh,

Although you may be non-VAT registered it may be that this non-VAT registered VAT scheme is not set up to begin from the start of 2015 - on the VAT schemes menu try deleting the scheme and re-adding to begin from your actual start:
