How change currency symbol on Invoices?

How to change the currency symbol from $ to S$ on invoice and quotes?

Paul is correct, it wouldn't be possible to change the currency symbol. However, you can toggle a feature on to show the currency code by heading to Settings > Configure System > Toggle Features > Accounting > Tick the 'Currency Codes'.

But aren't they only shown on the screen view of the invoice not the PDF that goes out?

Ah - well spotted! It seems that the currency code will not show for invoices displayed in the home currency but would work for foreign currencies. I will forward this onto our developers to make the necessary changes.

Hi Jag,

At the moment, it isn't possible to change the home currency to show as a currency code. I have forwarded this onto our developers to investigate and will update you as soon as this has been completed. Also, for foreign currencies, such as, if you raise a bill in a currency other than SGD, the invoice would display the currency code if the feature is toggled on.

Just a quick update. Our developers have now implemented the necessary changes, invoices and bills will now display the relevant currency code if this has been toggled on.

Where do I toggle this ON?

I have already enabled

Settings> Configure system> Toggle features> Accounting> Currency Codes

But I still cannot see option to change the currency symbol when I create new Invoice?

Jag - there's no currency selection box on your invoice screen, have you got Multicurrency toggled on?

I am using Small Subscription, which does not have Multicurrency option, I believe that is the limitation of my account.

Ahhh there you go then, more money for CB?
