Hi Mohamed,

I have looked into this and if you set the country as United Arab Emirates under the column heading 'country' it should set this correctly.

Kind regards,

Mohamed.

Dear Mohamed,

Please find the attachment in that "country" column is not available.

Hi Mohamed,

You would need to add a column into your spreadsheet for country in order to do this, however, I have no noted that for some reason the country addition is not working for United Arab Emirates for some reason. I have raised this for correction at present. I shall update you soon.

Kind regards,

Mohamed.

I agree - the company field on customer import does not work. Sloppy coding - please fix!!

Hi John,

Can you clarify what you mean about the company field?

All the best,

Mohamed.

Sorry Mohamed, the Country field!! The import utilities are basic, to put it politely. The user should be able to address all fields on a given record and do global updates of fields across records already present. With 'country' goes an implied VAT rate and treatment - which has to be entered manually after the event. As Sheikh Mohammed can confirm - even the UAE has the dreaded sales tax now!!

A marketing note: the absence of decent database tools are one reason people will grow out of Clearbooks.

Hi John,

I understand! Though the issue with the country codes is fixed at present. I have just tested this now and you can simply add a column with countries listed out and the system will import them in.

All the best,

Mohamed.
