Incorrect opening balance

Hi can you please tell me how I can amend an opening balance on an account from April 2022. I have set up a loan account with a balance of £250,000 but should have been £276,351.84. Do I just add a credit of £26351.84 on Settings - Opening Balances? The loan is now cleared so balance should be showing as zero but balance currently showing as the difference from the incorrect opening balance figure. Thank you.

Hi Lisa,

You can edit this by heading to Money > Bank accounts > Click on the Loan account balance > Then, amend the From Date to 31/03/2021 > Click Find > Click on the 250,000 figure > Click Edit > You should then be able to amend the amount.
