Not Vat Registered - Unable to post invoices all of a sudden

Trying to enter invoices, set up as not VAT registered and everytime I input an invoice I am receving this message:

You do not have a tax scheme set up that covers the current date (27/10/2014). Please add one before using this feature!

The information I have put in is as follows:

VAT scheme VAT accounting Date from Date to Flat VAT rate
Not VAT registered N/A 01/10/2014 N/A

Why will the system not let me post any invoices all of a sudden?

Hi Annette,

i am sorry to hear about these problems you have been experiencing. How long has this been happening for? May I just check what stage you are getting to before the issue arises and whether you are getting any specific error messages?

Hi Chris,

Have been messaging Anan and he tells me its a problem a number of users are having. I input all the invoice info, click on 'save' and then the message comes up.

I last heard from Anan that he would notify me when this has been fixed at 1.24pm today but have heard nothing since and I still can't post invoices.

Hi Annette,

We are still working hard on resolving this issue along with our technical development team. However, we seem to be unable to reproduce this at our end. The only way to do this would be to actually create an invoice on your account. However, we realise that this is sensitive and will affect your account. With your permission, we would like to create an invoice and then simply delete it afterwards, providing it allows us to create it in the first place!

Would it be OK for us to try this, as it will make it far easier to understand exactly what the issue is?

Hurrah - its sorted and I can now post invoices again. Thank you.
