Reset OpenPayroll & ClearBooks after trial

Hi have been using the trial ClearBooks and OpenPayroll and I would like to rest them back in preparation for company accounting. There are some junk entries I put to test the system

Can you tell me how to do this?

Hi Michael,

If you go to Settings > Getting Started > Reset this will put your account back to the beginning and remove everything on there. However, please be aware that that includes customers and suppliers also.

I did try that and again I get a warning in the payroll screen:


Not sure if this picture is uploading but the error message is: You currently have 2 outstanding payments for the tax year 2014-15 to report to HMRC. Please submit any outstanding payments from previous periods before performing another payrun.


Hi Michael,

That is a standard message you receive to let you know that tax is building up. When you submit the Payroll to HMRC it creates a bill and that is paid off. As you are not actually submitting, there is nothing to worry about. You just want to start again.
