Currency payments inwards cannot be processed - currency exchange fail

I have had no luck with getting this fixed by direct contact with Clearbooks.

Importing Euros, either by importing CSV files, or manual single payments, results in a payment converted at a 1:1 ratio to Pounds Sterling. This renders all Multi currency pretensions for Clearbooks void.

On the expectation that this won't be fixed soon, is there a workaround available so I can actually process euro transactions? Manual adjustment of the exchange rate does not work.

Anyone else have this problem?
