Authentication Failure

I want to submit EC Sales Returns to HMRC VAT from within CB but get the above. The Main VAT return works fine but the Authentication codes from HMRC VAT that I have are different for the EC Sales reporting. CB does not seem to have the capacity to accommodate different Authentication Codes for EC Sales but does for the main VAT report. Why not?

Have done that, and tried a partial EC Sales return for client without success. Reverted back to my Agent ID and tried the same partial EC Sales return. No luck either. The full VAT return processes quite normally via my Agent ID. Can do the EC Sales return via HMRC web site, but need manual input. That is why I want to use CB. Is there a time lag between authorisation via HMRC and CB?

Hello Gordon,

If you are using the accountants agent ID, the EC sales submission function will not as the system is not made for this.

You will need to continue the manual submission while we put this into the system for accountants.
