I just wrote you guys a suggestion but I have just noticed that one of your useful links explains how to do the thing i was asking for, however my invoices don't have a drop down field on the items available, could you explain this??

Hi John

You need to navigate to Settings > Organisation > Toggle Features and turn on "Stock / Product Lists"
