Read only access

Question asked by Sharon Bhogal 10 years ago

Hello - is it possible in the user settings to give read only access to particular areas?

Hi Sharon,

Unfortunately there is no read only access, but what I can do is offer you a trial extension to allow you to log in to the account and export any data you need within the extended trial extension period.

Please let me know if you would like us to do this for you?

I hope that this is helpful.

All the best,

Shaz

I'm already a paying user, however, I think the read only access would be a useful feature for other employees to have without actually editing info.

Yes that is the biggest problem with clearbooks from what I can see it is too easy for a user to 'accidentally' void a invoice or edit credit terms and accidentally change invoice dates after it has been sent. A read only version where a user needs access to view outstanding debt, clients positions etc but not be able to tamper with anything!

amazed to learn that an otherwise very thought through and impressive system does not support one of the most basic requirements of multi access users not to provide a 'read only' access role. gutted.
