Annual invoice - monthly payments

Hi.

I'm very new to Clearbooks so please forgive me if the answer to my question is very obvious!

I send out annual invoices but receive payment via monthly direct debit. Is there a way of automatically receiving and assigning payment to the customers' accounts each month following the monthly direct debit run?

Hi Rachel

Not possible i'm afraid. You can create lookup rules so the statement explanation process becomes a little quicker butb as yet there's no auto allocation feature.

Hi Rachel - this is how I run my firm and, as Kevin says, I use bank rules that identify the monthly payment and offer up the invoice for allocation, so only one mouse click each one.
