Sales Invoice

Question asked by Paul Russell 9 years ago

Hi

another day, another questions

Client has contacted me asking for a copy invoice, which they have paid. I' said 'no problem', however all I can get out is the copy that prints with 'paid with thanks' - which I think is still going to be a legal invoice as it has the info needed on it, but it looks a bit pony, if I can't just recreate the actual invoice itself

any assistance would be welcome - I would have phoned support, but forgot

Hi Paul

Just in case it's of use, when you send invoices, you can switch on the facility within Toggle features to attach a copy of the invoice to the email and, within Emails>Settings, you can BCC a copy to yourself. Sometimes, when a client denies having had the invoice, it's quicker for me to go back to my copy of the email and forward it to them.

Hi Paul,

You can remove the 'paid with thanks' watermark - or change the wording on any invoice themes that you create ( the Clear Books built in themes are fixed). To create a theme head to Settings>Invoice themes>Create (edit a theme on the Settings>Invoice themes>All menu) and scroll down the menu on the Theme settings tab. You can then remove\re-word the watermark that appears on all invoice themes.
