Invalid email address

I'm adding a new customer and it keeps saying i need to use a valid email - the email they've given me is the only one they have. And it works. Not sure what the system deems a valid email address, and is there a way to override the setting. It's never happened before.

Hi Helen,

If you wouldn't mind, could you send details of the customer, email address and the company account you were updating, to contact support please? We can then investigate further for you.
