Writing off a bad debt

How do I write off a bad debt so the invoice stops appearing in money owed? Nothing happens if I click on the write off button.
I'm sure Natasha will sort this but i'm presuming you're scrolling to the bottom left of the invoice, clicking options then scrolling to the bottom right and clicking write-off. After that, are you scrolling back down to confirm the write-off?
