GETTING RID OF NO LONGER REQUIRED PROJECTS AND NOMINAL CODES FROM DROP DOWNS WHEN DOING JOURNALS ETC

Hi all

I understand how to stop nominal codes showing on sales and purchase drop downs ie you untick the code but where can you stop old project codes and old nominal codes appearing in dropdowns elsewhere?

Hi Spencer,

You can remove old projects by archiving them (Tools > Projects > All > Edit Project).

Unfortunately there is no way to remove nominal codes from the list you get when creating a journal.

If some old accounts are causing confusion you should be able to rename them from the Settings > Codes > All screen to make clear which ones shouldn't be used.
