Which Hmrc Address should I write to if I wish to close my limited companies payroll scheme and De-register for VAT?

My company has ceased trading and I really would like to close it ASAP.

Need to notify HMRC to close the Payroll scheme and de-register the business for VAT however I don't know which address to write to.

I don't want to call them up as lines are really busy and due to call charges.

Any help please?

Hi Samaira - your final PAYE submission can be noted as such when you make the submission and you can see what else needs doing by logging into your government gateway and following the "Stop being an employer" link.

You can actually deregister for VAT from your government gateway login.

If all else fails I'm afraid you will have to make a cup of tea and try the helplines.
