CIS payment back from HMRC

Question asked by carl 8 years ago

Sorry for all the stupid questions i have been saving them up for a while!

I have received a payment cheque from HMRC for CIS deductions back from my wages. How do i allocate this in the money import area?

Sorry, given your other posts I already know you're a limited company.

Exactly how you assign this transaction really depends on how you're handling CIS in general in Clear Books and whether the gross rebate was first used to offset against any CIS subbie deductions, a PAYE bill or your year-end Corp Tax liability.

I'd say this is probably one to run past your accountant before any of us try guessing.

Are you self-employed or a limited company?
