CHANGING EXISTING EMPLOYEES PAYROLL FREQUENCY FROM MONTHLY TO WEEKLY

Hi,

I realise that the software does not allow mid year changes, however my client wants to make this change.

Have you got a work around that could achieve this ?

Create a new employee [you'll need to slightly amend the name on the 'old' employee though to make it happen]

So old employee becomes John Smith-Monthly [don't issue P45]

New employee just becomes John Smith [don't send starter data via FPS].

Hi Kevin, but creating a new employee will surely mess up the submissions to HMRC? also how are the calculations carried over to the newly created employee?

I have an employee who needs to be changed to weekly PAYE and I cant seem to work it out
