Hi Peter,

There is a feature which alphabetises account codes which could be causing the P&L to be displayed in the way you describe - if you head to Settings>Configure system>Toggle features, on the Accounting tab is the alphebitise accounts setting codes enabled?

Hi Peter,

Unfortunately there isn't a way to filter the P/L report in Clear Books.

You can however export it to CSV through the 'Download as' button. You can then modify the layout of the report in an excel spreadsheet through highlighting a particular line and then dragging and dropping it.

Hi Peter - The Trial Balance report starts with the P&L accounts and tends to list them in code order. So again an export of a CSV might be of help.

I wonder why this is not possible and I am missing the overview. I just added 2 new account codes with the same number+1 and the first is halfway the P/L report and the second is on the bottom. Strange. What is exactly used to present the P/L report?
