Are PDF Statements for suppliers no longer available?

Question asked by Iain Warren 8 years ago

It used to be that when you viewed a supplier's statement of account you had the option to download a PDF as well as send them a link to the statement? For some reason, that button has disappeared? I just wondered if it's still possible to download a PDF of unpaid bills for a supplier?

Hi Iain - if I can butt in here, the benefit of cloud accounting is the ability to share data and CB is rare in allowing suppliers access to their statement online, ie just send them the link on the supplier full statement page.

This has paid dividends with a couple of my clients in that, if there's a dispute over what's owed etc, they just send the supplier the link and tell them to sort it out.

Hi Iain,

For the time being it is located at the bottom of the page - something I have escalated to the technical team to review:

thanks for the email however I have attached a screengrab of a supplier's unpaid bills. As you can see there is no way at all to email or download a PDF?

Likewise, if I visit the supplier's page to get the statement all I can do is click the link to get the HTML version - there is no way to download or email the information at all!

Hi Iain,

When you are on the Unpaid Bills screen you need to tick the boxes beside the bills you want to PDF for the button to appear.

Regarding the supplier statement, you are correct that it does not seem to have the same options for viewing and emailing the statement that customer statements do. I will query with my colleagues on our Product Team as to why this is and if it is a bug they will fix it.

I hope this helps.

All the best.

Hi Iain,

Regarding emailing supplier statements, I have queried this with my colleagues on our Product Team and they have investigated.

They tell me that it was never possible to email supplier statements in the past, only customer ones.

As it seems like a reasonable improvement to add I have raised it internally as such.

All the best.
