Posting of the wages

Good Afternoon

Thank you for the payroll guide (entering payroll transactions processed outside Clear Books). I have followed this to the latter, but am stuck now on how best to pay the employees through the bank. Should I be posting this as a journal ? Or through bank/money out ?

Hi Michelle,

You can do either (go with whatever you feel saves you most time) - explaining as money out will mean that all the payments will be listed on a supplier statement (journals do not)

If you import a statement it is easiest to explain it directly from the statement
