Payroll tax code

On processing the payroll, the message " requires a tax code update. Please process this period manually". I have had no notification of a revised tax code for this employee from HMRC. How do I process this employee's payroll?

Hi John - most of the time it's just a case of updating last year's 1100L to this year's 1150L
