New Financial Year - Payroll

I just wondered when the new Payroll Year (2018/19) gets created on Clear Books. Is it an automated process or do I need to set anything up? I was looking under Payroll - Settings - General and I would like our Pay Day to change to the 14th day within fortnightly pay, it is currently set on the 1st. Is this something I can do once the new Payroll Year has appeared?

Hi Annabel,

This would be an automated process as soon as the new tax year begins. Yes, this setting can be changed whenever you like, however, if you do change the payday, please be aware that you will have to submit an FPS on or before the payday.
