MySQL access

Question asked by Miles Bartkowiak 7 years ago

Hi,

I would like to be able to automatically import data from clearbooks into excel spreadsheet. I believe most efficient way would be through downloading data directly from mysql database. Is there any way of accessing it?

Hi Miles,

Are you referring to exporting your Clear Books data into a spreadsheet software? If so, you can do so by heading to Tools > Export > Export, select the date range and the data type you require, then hit Go. Once this is done, a CSV file will be automatically downloaded in which you can open with a spreadsheet software.

Thanks,

Tommy

Hi Tommy,

Is there any chance Export tool would be extended to have All Items report? I mean, all transaction, bills, PO's, Credit notes etc?

Hi Miles,

Unfortunately, we do not have any immediate plans to introduce an All Items report. With regards to downloading all transactions, this can be done by heading to Reports > Popular Reports > Transactions > Click Download as CSV. Whereas, for bills, purchase orders and credit notes, these will have to be exported individually in Tools > Export.

Thanks,

Tommy
