Email template - change name of placeholder

Question asked by Adam Elliott 7 years ago

Hi

Is there any way to change the name of the placeholders?

For example, I want to use ::statement_link:: but I don’t want it to say ‘Your Statement’

On the quote email template for example, I’d like to say ‘Click here to mark the quote accepted’ with the click here being the link

Can I put the placeholders within a html tag such as ;

click here

Alternatively is there any other way to achieve this?

Many thanks

Hi Adam,

Unfortunately, there is no way to change the name of placeholders. Also, we do not have any UI controls for adding links. However, you are able to toggle the HTML source to personalise your email templates. Please see below:

Lastly, placeholders will work even if they're wrapped within custom HTML.
