Question asked by Delamotte 7 years ago

Good evening, First time I use an accountant software - and sorry for my English - I linked the bank account to Clearbooks with no problem but I Don't know how important the statements directly from the bank account to the sofware since 01/04/2017. Thank you for your help. Pascale

Hi Pascale,

When you click on 'Refresh' on the Yodlee feed, is it not allowing you to bring in items for specific dates?

If this is not working, please click on 'Unlink' and then 'Link', which will allow you to, once again, pick the bank account that you want the transactions to import into and also select dates between which you would like transactions to be imported. Then 'Refresh'.

Hi Aran,

Thank you for your answer and your email.

I started by follow your advices below.

1 "Failed to refresh, this could be because you have already refreshed your account recently." 2 I unliked the Bank Account, fill the form again, pick 01/04/2017 - but some people said I can have only 3 months and I checked my bank online they provide only .pdf. . Csv is only available for the last transactions - and since 5 minutes now or more I have this message "Yodlee is in the process of updating your account with your revised credentials."

So I Don't know how long I have to wait for Yodlee and if it will possible to have all my bank transactions since 04/2017.

Thank you for you help.

Just seen the Auto Entry fonction where I can drag my .pdf statements. It's seems link with you but does it mean I have to pay for 2 services ? in the future

I would wait about 10-15 minutes for everything to update/ import. If you would like to import transactions previous to three months ago, you will have to do a CSV import as Yodlee will not pull them through.

As your online banking only provides PDFs for old transactions, you will have to manipulate the files. Download the PDF that you want, copy and paste the data into a spreadsheet, arrange the data in the way that newer CSV bank statements are arranged and save it to your desktop as a CSV type file. This, you can upload to Clear Books in Money> Bank statements> Import statement

Ok thank you so much.

I already converted some .pdf in .xls and .cvs but it does not work properly. The caracters are : =*&;:..

Thanks anyway for your advices …

Ah, if you have characters like that in your spreadsheet, you may have trouble uploading it- the system does not like non-standard punctuation.

Please try again and if you need any more help, perhaps you can email us again with more details or send us the spreadsheet so that we can look over it?

Thank you I will sent you the spreadsheet apparently there is Nothing I can do.

I will email you as soon as possible.
