MTD VAT submission

Hi

I have finalised the VAT but I cannot see the button that says "Submit VAT Return" button. The submit button shows but when I click on it nothing happens . I am unable to submit the VAt return. Please advise.

Hi Anu,

Yes, the account holder of your Clear Books account. I have sent an email to him with the instructions. But for your information, the navigation steps are to head to the Building Icon (top right) > Manage Users > Click the 'pen' icon > Click Show all Permissions > Tick on HMRC VAT Submission and hit Save.

I have taken a look, you do not have the required permissions. The main contact must grant you the VAT Submission permission.

Thank you. when you say main contact , do you mean the account administrator. What has got to do . I will mail him now.

I also have the same problem.

The issue was due to user permissions, could you please check that you have the required user permissions for VAT submissions please?
