Hi I've Submitted my first MTD VAT Return and it all seem to have gone well. I have a receipt and it's showing As submitted in Green. The question I have is I used to get an "VAT Return Status" email showing When it would taken from the bank. I haven't had this , Do I Still get it?

Hi Jim,
That email we used to receive from HMRC, but that is no longer sent as MTD provides instant status updates. My apologies if this is somewhat inconvenient. You can save a PDF copy of the return for your records if that helps.

Unfortunately, you do not now as the status is updated immediately on the page as soon as the submission has been made.

Hi Mohamed Ok .Shame I used to keep this as a record and to know when the money was due out the bank.
