Hi,

It sounds like it is picking this up as your customers would still be charged 20% only you would pay a flat rate. I am afraid I would not be able to assist further without looking at the account. I would suggest raising a ticket by emailing contact support with your query and we can assist further.

All the best,

Mohamed.

Hi,

I'm afraid you cannot directly enter figures into a VAT return. Your sales and purchases are what populates the figures in the VAT return.

All the best,

Mohamed.

I have definitely done this previously, Has the software changed?

Hi,

This has never been a feature of the system I am afraid. We have never allowed for manually VAT figure amendment to my knowledge.

All the best,

I am flat rate and vat output on the draft return is 20% . How do I change this to flat rate? I never used to have this problem. It would pick up the flat rate for the return and calculate that.

Hi,

This is set up under Settings > Organisation > Details and Tax > Tax then manage VAT schemes. You can select the flat rate scheme there.

All the best,

Mohamed.

thank you. it is on there already. I have just checked. so why is it not picking it up for the return?
