Expense bill lacks edit button

Question asked by Miles Bartkowiak 3 years ago

Hi,

Please could an edit option be fixed / added for bill created from approved expenses? Do to limited reporting capabilities in Clearbooks i need access to Summary box. Can at least just that be added (ie. like due date edit option?)

Kind regards.

Hi Miles,

I am not sure I understand. The linked PUR is listed at the bottom of the expense claim form and vice versa for the bill. I do understand that the summary does not come across. This is not a supported feature on the bill I am afraid.

All the best,

Mohamed.

Hi Miles,

I'm afraid that is not possible. The easiest way to do this is to void the bill. This will push the expense back to unapproved and allow you to recreate the bill by editing and approving the expense.

All the best,

Mohamed.

I'm afraid that doesn't solve anything. It doesn't pull through Summary details and even if it wouldn't be any good to me, as i need to know the "PUR" number. At the moment once expense is approved "Expense claim form" is added into summary box and that's it.

It is a standard feature on Purchase bills:
