Purchase Order - Queries

Question asked by Gareth Ricketts 1 year ago

Is there anyway to edit the purchase order template? Perhaps adding my own terms and conditions on them etc?

Gareth,

This is not something that can be done for the most part. I believe you can add terms and conditions as a global attachment under Contacts > Emails > Email attachments.

All the best,

Mohamed.

Brilliant

It also gives me options to make other changes to email templates etc. which I didn't even know existed

Thankyou

Sounds like you have found a good way for now. However, to address your original question... For a company I was associated with before, I was able to change the appearance of Purchase Orders (add logo etc). Made a new template, created a special logo with the company logo to the left, and some text to the right that referred to "our terms and conditions apply - can be our seen here". With some playing around for sizes and locations etc, it turned out well. Only problem was it meant learning some basic CSS editing. I haven't bothered for my new company yet. I think it was called invoice template. So I created two templates (one for customer invoices and one for purchase orders and set the default for each type appropriately. I think I've seen an announcement from ClearBooks that customising invoice templates has got easier of late. Haven't tried it to know, though.
