Inport csv file

Hi. How do i add my contacts with a csv file. i,ve seen a post previously but on my account it dosent show the same option buttons. I have a Sole Trader account.Thanks Alan
Hi Alan,
It is not possible to import contacts on the Sole Trader plan. The import feature is only available on the Core plans; Small, Medium and Large.

Hi Alan,
To access this feature, you must hover over your business name at the top right > Add New Business > Select the Accounting plan. Once completed, please see: How to import a list of customers
You can then navigate back to the Sole Trader account and close this by heading to the Building Icon (top right) > Account > Close account. Please let me know once that has been completed and we can refund the Sole Trader plan.

Hi Tommy. If I add the accounting business and delete my sole trader can i still use it to submit digital my tax return or do i need both. Thanks. Alan.

Yes, you can submit your MTD quarterly updates on the accounting account type. You can subscribe to the Small plan if you only require the Import feature. For the feature list and pricing, please see: here.

You can navigate back to the Sole Trader account by hovering over your business name at the top right and selecting the account. Then, you can close this by heading to the Building Icon (top right) > Account > Close account.
I will raise a refund with our Accounts team for the Sole Trader plan and will let you know once processed.
